Heron Aviation<\/strong> is honoured to announce the expansion of their AOC<\/strong> with the addition of a new Spanish registered Citation Mustang<\/strong>. The 2009 Mustang, complete with limited edition High Sierra interior, has entered into service under the Spanish registration EC-LCX<\/strong>. Under the close guidance of the German State Aviation Authority, enrolment of the aircraft onto the company certificate was officially closed on 09th<\/sup> August 2019.<\/p>\n

EC-LCX<\/strong> will mark the first aircraft incorporated onto Heron\u2019s AOC in accordance with ICAO Article 83, contractually drafted and agreed upon by the respective national authorities of Germany and Spain in December, 2010, which enumerates the cross-border oversight authority of foreign registered aircraft between the two countries. Heron is pleased to offer the wealth of experience and relationships gained during this process to future clients.<\/p>\n

With a base in northern Spain and the unsurpassed economics of the Citation fleet, EC-LCX is the clear choice for the urgent business trip or Mediterranean weekend. Considering a range of over 1.800 kilometres complemented by a cruising speed of over 600 km\/h, nearly all of Europe is only a short comfortable hop away.<\/p>\n

The aircraft will greatly expand Heron Aviation\u2019s presence in the Mediterranean region and marks the concurrent expansion of the firm into southern Europe with Heron Aviation Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>. The new Spanish subsidiary, based in Madrid and head up by Mr. Jos\u00e9 Manuel P\u00e9rez de la Cruz<\/strong>, will oversee all sales and marketing activities for EC-LCX <\/strong>with 24\/7 sales support<\/strong> and a presence in one of the most important hubs in southern Europe.<\/p>\n

This expansion marks the diverse nature of Heron Aviation\u2019s <\/strong>fleet growth, which exhibits aircraft across the size and mission spectrum.
