Heron Luftfahrt GmbH & Co. KG is a young and dynamic aviation company operating business jets. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated personality in the area of CAMO.

As a family run business, we are also happy to provide support, if necessary, with accommodation and other administrative hurdles outside of work. 

Position and Responsibilities:

  • technical assistance for several aircraft types
  • composition and developing of aircraft maintenance and reliability programs
  • identify all maintenance requirements and activities for the aircraft
  • tracking of mandatory items and review manufacturer documentation
  • administration of technical aircraft records

 

Job Requirements

  • degree in Aeronautical engineering or equivalent (Mechanic)
  • 3-4 years of work experience in a CAMO for Business Aircraft
  • knowledge of EASA Part-M, Part-145 requirements and national regulations
  • general knowledge of maintenance methods in aviation
  • be able to adapt the aviation safety and quality standards within the organization
  • knowledge of the principles of Human Factors, fuel tank safety, EWIS and SMS
  • experience with aircraft maintenance tracking software CAMP
  • fluent in written and spoken German and English language

Heron Luftfahrt GmbH & Co. KG is a young and dynamic aviation company located in the south of Germany, operating business jets since 2010. To strengthen our team, we are looking for captains on the PC-12, for the homebase in Hamburg (EDDH). The aircraft operates approx. 450 hours per year for various charter customers and also returns to the home base on a regular basis.

  • PC-12 Type Rating

To support our office in Lauchringen we are looking for a full-time Nominated Person (NP) Crew Training starting immediately.

Your Impact:

As an NP Crew Training at Heron Aviation, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the aviation industry and be confronted with a dynamic working environment. This requires quick thinking and problem-solving skills. From day one, you will be responsible for the training of all departments, regulatory approvals and much more.

NP Crew Training is also required to assist management from time to time in the continuous development of the company’s training procedures and objectives. This position is particularly aimed at candidates who see themselves in a leadership role.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:

  • Developing and updating training programs for various employee groups
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and regulations in the area of training
  • Monitoring training performance and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and fulfil training needs
  • Completed studies or training in the field of aviation or related disciplines
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of training programs
  • Knowledge of applicable aviation regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work and take priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of Spanish & French is advantageous
  • You should be committed to a customer-oriented attitude
  • Experience with common office software
  • A “Can-Do” attitude with the willingness to always go the extra mile
  • 5 years’ experience in Crew Training
  • Relocation to Lauchringen (a town being situated on the Upper Rhine area with many possibilities for outdoor activities located close to the Swiss border, Lake Constance and the Southern Black Forest)

Heron Luftfahrt GmbH & Co. KG is a young and dynamic aviation company operating business jets. For our headquarter in Lauchringen (Germany) we are looking for an NPCA / CAMO Engineer.

Position and Responsibilities:

  • Leading a group of CAMO Engineers (actual 4)
  • Development, ongoing review and change of maintenance programs and presentation to the competent authority for approval
  • identify all maintenance requirements and activities for the aircraft
  • preparing, scheduling and reviewing of maintenance activities
  • direct communication with authorities and manufacturers
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of the AMP
  • keep the CAME up to date
  • ensure that the Airworthiness Certificates stays valid

 

Job Requirements

  • Fulfill the requirements of the EU (JAR) OPS 1.175 and AC 1.1.75 in the context of a “Post Holder” and fulfillment of the requirements for obtaining the Form 4
  • A formal technical license or certified and recognized training is required to meet the respective Civil Aviation Authority standards
  • Previous experience dealing with regulatory authorities and in depth knowledge of JAA/EASA regulations
  • Previous Experience in the same role (min 2 years).
  • degree in Aeronautical engineering or equivalent
  • four-five years of work experience in a CAMO for Business Aircraft and detailed knowledge on Falcon, Cessna and Bombardier Products knowledge of EASA Part-M, Part-145 requirements and national regulations
  • general knowledge of maintenance methods
  • be able to adapt the aviation safety and quality standards within the organization
  • knowledge of the principles of Human Factors, fuel tank safety, EWIS and SMS
  • experience with aircraft maintenance tracking software CAMP
  • Good MS-Office skills
  • willingness to travel and further education
  • fluent in written and spoken in German and English language
